I entered the log home restoration industry almost eighteen years ago, preserving and restoring log homes from California to North Carolina to Wyoming to the Florida Keys. I have worked with everything from new construction to logs that predate the Civil War, from red cedar to oak to pine to Douglas fir logs, from all styles and stacks of log homes to timber frames, from rural American cabins to downtown industrial building rehabs, from tiny pump houses to 27,000-square foot estates.
With all this experience, my goal is to not only provide you with high-quality services, but also to educate you on all the procedures, product options, and maintenance for your home. We also are committed to having and running a clean, safe job site. With our trusty CSO and MIC (that’s Chief Sniffing Officer and Mascot in Chief), Banjo, we’re here to improve and protect your dream home.

About our name…
Kbartee? What’s that mean?
I am a sixth generation Coloradan, and ranching is in my blood. My ancestors settled the valley between the Sangre de Cristo Mountains and the Wet Mountains over 125 years ago. My wife Katie and I were married in the historic church where my great-great grandparents were the first couple married nearly 100 years to the day before us. As a wedding present, my grandmother created a personal brand for us and stitched it into my wife’s dress as her “something blue.” Grandma’s design is called “K bar T.” That’s K for my wife and T for me! For our first anniversary (paper, for all you guys out there), my wife submitted our brand to the Colorado Livestock Board for approval. Today, we use that brand to differentiate our cows from Grandma’s cows—and differentiate our superior log home renovations from our competitors.
